There have been numerous crashes at Jeddah International Airport over the years, with one of the most notorious being the infamous Formula 2 Feature Race. During the same day, British Airtours Flight 28M stalled after taking off from Manchester. This resulted in the crash of the aircraft, with only eighty-five people surviving.
